Mumbai: A case of cheating has come to light in the name of publishing a book on PM Narendra Modi's Mann Ki Baat program. Anand Keshav Singh, 49, has filed a complaint alleging that a person named Alok Tiwari is being talked about publishing a book on PM's program Mann Ki Baat without any official permission on social media.

The complainant said Tiwari had used Prime Minister Narendra Modi's name to tell everyone that he was going to publish a book titled 'Saar Granth' on Mann Ki Baat. The book will be published in March 2023 and will be released by president Draupadi Murmu. In his complaint, he has alleged that false news reports of President Draupadi Murmu Tiwari and others publishing 'Saar Granth' in New Delhi are being spread on social media and in person by sending brochures. In return, he is collecting donations.

It is alleged that the complainant has also been duped Rs 4,001. In the complaint, he said there is also a possibility that several other individuals and entrepreneurs in Mumbai may have been duped in a similar manner in the name of the book. He has lodged a complaint with unit 11 of the Mumbai Crime Branch. On the basis of the complaint, the officers have started further investigation.
