Bollywood actress Seema Biswas is always in the news for something or the other, with her acting that has left no stone unturned to win the hearts of her fans. That's where she's celebrating her 57th birthday today. So let's know something special about him on his birthday...

Seema Biswas, who made her film debut in Bollywood with her debut movie 'Bendy Queen', played Phoolan Devi in the movie. This movie was based on the true event of Phoolan Devi's life. She was awarded the Best Actress award in 1996 for this character played by Seema. She won the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2000 and the Best Actress award for her role as Shakuntala in Deepa Mehta's 'Water' (2005).

Biswas was born on January 14, 1965 in Nalbari, Assam to Bengali parents Jagdish Biswas and Meera Biswas. In the early days of her life, she used to do theatre, where she met artists like Bhupen Hazarika, Funny Sarma and Bishnuprasad Rabha. He studied political science at Nalbari College, and later went to the National School of Drama, New Delhi. After graduating from NSD in 1984, she joined the NSD Reporting Company. Seema has made her acting debut in many Bollywood films. He had distinguished himself by working in films like Vivah, Water, Ek Hasina Thi.
