New Delhi: After a meeting with the Lieutenant Governor regarding the preparations for the G-20, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said, 'It is a big deal for India that we have got the opportunity to host the G-20. It is even more important for Delhi because its biggest events are to be held in Delhi. It is our responsibility that all the guests who come to Delhi during the G20, feel good. They should get good facilities. We will fulfill the responsibility very well to show a good picture of India. All the departments are already preparing for it and there was a good discussion on it.

Along with this, he further said- 'Also, display the special and unique things of the country, Delhi has its own history, its own culture. It is a good opportunity to showcase all these things. The development of Delhi will also take a toll and there will also be sustainable development. The whole of Delhi is being prepared for the arrival of about one lakh people. Who will go to which corner of Delhi so some good markets and parks of Delhi will be beautiful. We will welcome all the guests in a festival-like atmosphere.

Let us tell you that officials of PWD, NDMC, Education Department, DDA, and Police Department were also present in this meeting. Yes, along with this, let us also tell you that India officially assumed the presidency of the G20 on 1 December. Yes, preparations have been started at every level regarding this mega event to be held next year. In the meeting, the Lt Governor took the lead on various related projects, including the repair of roads, especially roads leading to and from the IGI airport, ring, and radial roads.
