Regarding the Civil Amendment Bill, Jammu and Kashmir Congress President GA Mir said that the BJP government is engaged in weakening the Constitution by tampering with the constitutional values. People have come to understand the BJP policies and are getting answers in the elections now. Opposing the Citizenship Law amendment, he said that by implementing it, the government is weakening the infrastructure of the nation. The party will conduct a campaign to make people aware of the values of the Constitution.

Mir was speaking at the 135th Foundation Day function of the Congress on Saturday. During this period, a march was taken from the party headquarters from Shaheedi Chowk to Indira Chowk on behalf of the State Congress. In this, activists and leaders of various wings of the party participated. In the march, with the posters of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. BR Ambedkar, the slogan of 'Save the Constitution, Save the Nation' was given. The march started from the party headquarters at Residency Road, Dennis Gate Raghunath Bazar Chowk, Hari Market, at Indira Chowk, former Prime Minister. Indira Gandhi's statue was held at the site.

Speakers said that the BJP was working to weaken the Constitution. The Congress Party has respected the basic values of the Constitution. The CAA is being opposed across the country, which the BJP should understand. Chib, Hoshiar Singh, Ricky etc. were present.
