New Delhi: Indian Space research organisation announced to set Gaganyaan mission between 2024 – 2025. This is the first mission for ISRO to take crew to the mission.
ISRO is taking this mission a little slow as I will improve and do less chances of fail said by ISRO chairman S Somnath in Spacecraft Mission Operations (SMOPS-2023). As the plan it will set between 2024 – 2025.
If it will be successful, India will be fourth nation to reach such a milestone. The crewed mission was to set in 2022 but due to covid 19 rescheduled and will be between 2024 – 2025.

Gaganyaan mission is set for two uncrewed mission and one crewed mission, the Gaganyaan project will serve as a corner stone for establishing a long-lasting Indian human space exploration program in future.The crewed mission will have three astronauts and will travel to the lower orbit of earth for a duration of three days and will bring them back to with a splash in the Indian ocean.

This mission will help ISRO to not only to have an experience, hence the astronauts will have experience to travel in the orbit and the ISRO will explore more thing in the earth, and as the research suggest that some places are still not explored and as earth contains 70% of water hence it is said that there are many more ecosystem which are not explored.
