Meta-owned photo-video sharing app Instagram has also been reported to be down. This has also been confirmed by Downdetector, a site that tracks the outage. According to the report, 56 percent of users have also started having problems with the Instagram app, while 23 percent of users are having trouble logging in. 21 percent of users have complained of server error. Apart from Instagram, many Facebook users have also complained of outages. Facebook users timeline is not refreshing.
This is the second outage in Instagram within a month. Earlier on May 21, Instagram was stalled for several hours. This happened due to a technical bug in Instagram. Due to this bug of Instagram, the accounts of 1,80,000 users all over the world were affected.
According to the Downdetector.com report, 1,00,000 users in the US alone, 24,000 in Canada and 56,000 users in the UK were affected.
