Patna: An incident of gang rape of a woman singer has come to light in Bihar's Patna. Subsequently, on the complaint of the victim, the police arrested 3 persons. The case pertains to Jyoti Baba Path under the Ramakrishna Nagar police station area. According to the news, the three criminals first invited the female singer to sing a song for a ceremony here.
Then on some pretext, they took her to the room and the trio committed the gang-raped her. The female singer somehow escaped from their clutches and went to another room and called the police. On receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and arrested the three criminals. Police also recovered a desi Katta and three bullets from the possession of the criminals.
The 28-year-old victim hails from Jehanabad and the singer lives in Mithapur and works as a singer singing at cultural festivals. Patna SSP Manavjit Singh Dhillon said that after getting information about the victim, the police immediately conducted a tip-off and arrested the three criminals. The victim will be produced in court. After that, action will be taken under the law. At the same time, one of the arrested persons said that the female singer was falsely accusing him. The accused said, "The singer and I were already friends. She also took money from me several times. When I asked to return the money, she kept on refusing. When we put pressure, she falsely accused us." The case is currently under investigation.
