HYDERABAD: Four special trains will be run by the South Central Railway between Secunderabad and Banaras to help with the flow of travellers during Ganga Pushkaram.
The dates these trains run are April 29 through May 5. The special Ganga Pushkaram trains will leave Secunderabad on April 29 at 9:40 p.m. and arrive in Banaras at 6:30 a.m. on May 1. The train will leave Banaras in the other direction at 08.35 a.m. on May 1 and arrive in Secunderabad at 6.15 p.m. on May 2.
The second special train will leave Secunderabad on May 3 at 9.40 p.m. and arrive in Banaras on May 5 at 6.30 a.m. The paired train will leave Banaras on May 5 at 8:35 a.m. and arrive in Secunderabad on May 6 at 6:15 p.m.
These special trains will make stops in both directions at the following stations: Jangaon, Kazipet, Peddapalli, Ramage dampener, Bellampalli, Sirpurkagazhnagar, Balharshah, Nagpur, Italian, Pipariya, Jabalpur, Katni junction, Santa, Manipur, and Prayagraj Chheoki.
In order to clear the rush of passengers during Ganga Pushkaram, South Central Railway proposed running 18 special trains between Secunderabad - Raxaul, Tirupati - Danapur and Guntur - Banaras.Train No. 07007/07008 Secunderabad - Raxaul - Secunderabad special trains will be operated on April 23, 30 and May and in return on April 25, May 2 and 9.
Akola, Bhusawal, Khandwa Jn, Itarsi Jn, Pipariya, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki Jn, Pt. DD Upadhyaya, Buxar, Patliputra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, and Sitamarhi Jn are among the stops made by these special trains in both directions.
