The app has not been included on both platforms since February 12. However, no information has been issued by Garena in this regard. Garena will soon be able to issue an official statement on the removal of the game from the Google Play Store and app store.

Is the game banned?: However, the Max version of the game i.e. Free Fire Max has been launched on the Google Play Store, while neither Free Fire nor Free Fire Max is going to be made available on the App Store. After which many rumours have also started soaring in the gaming community. According to reports fans are feeling that just like PUBG Mobile, this game has also been banned.

However, it's a mere rumour. Because there has been no report of the game being banned from either Garena or the government. Users are waiting for a statement from the game developers to come. Let us know that even though the game has been removed from the Google Play Store and App Store, users who have already downloaded Free Fire can easily play it.

What's the reason?: Many reports have also said that it could be a technical glitch, which has come after the latest update. In the year 2020, the Indian government has banned many Chinese apps due to security reasons, including PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite. Till the time of writing, no information in this regard has been given on any of the social media accounts of Garena or Free Fire on the matter.
