Adani slips to 4th position in world's richest list, shares fall sharply

New Delhi: Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has slipped to the fourth position in the list of the world's most richest persons. Let us know that on Thursday, his net worth registered a big decline of $3.51 billion i.e. about Rs 28,599 crore. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Adani's net worth now stands at $128 billion and he has lagged behind Bernard Arnault of France. 

Let us know that Adani reached second place in this list a few days ago, but due to the big fall in the stock market in recent days, his net worth has fallen by about $20 billion. At the same time, Amazon's Jeff Bezos is second on the list of the world's richest people with $138 billion and Arnolt ($129 billion) is third. Tesla CEO Elon Musk remains in first place with a net worth of $240 billion. On Thursday, his net worth has fallen by a whopping $13.3 billion.

Shares of most of the listed companies of Adani Group recorded a huge decline on Thursday. Shares of Adani Enterprises, the flagship company of the Adani Group, have fallen 2.17 per cent. Similarly, Adani Transmission fell 5.25 per cent, Adani Total Gas 1.28 per cent, Adani Green Energy 2.25 per cent and Adani Ports 1.37 per cent. However, Adani Power and Adani Wilmar saw a slight rise.
