New Delhi: The semi-final match of the T20 World Cup was played between Australia and Pakistan on Thursday. The two teams witnessed a fierce clash in the field. Australia beat Pakistan in this interesting match to advance to the final of the T20 World Cup. On the other hand, many veterans were also seen fighting over the match on Twitter. Two such veterans were veteran Congress leader Digvijay Singh and former cricketer and BJP MP Gautam Gambhir. The situation became such that Digvijay Singh and Gautam Gambhir were taught morality in cricket on social media platforms.

The whole thing is related to one over of the match when Pakistan's Mohammad Hafeez came into the bowl. In this over, the ball from Hafeez's hand uncomfortably reached David Warner after two-three steps. David Warner hit the ball for a six without showing any softness. The umpire later gave the ball a no-ball and the next ball became a free hit. Commentator and former cricketer Gautam Gambhir termed David Warner's shot as against the spirit of the game. Gambhir spoke in a tweet tagging Team India spinner R Ashwin. However, Digvijay Singh did not know what was bad about Gautam's statement that he slammed Gambhir. In fact, David Warner was given caught behind out by the umpire for a personal score of 49 runs.

Warner did not think it necessary to take a review and returned to the pavilion. Later during the replay, it was clear that the ball even did not touch the bat. Referring to this, Digvijay Singh tweeted and asked Gambhir, Gautam Gambhirji, you had questioned Warner's morality to hit the ball which slipped from the bowler's hand. What would you say when he walked off without review? However, Diggi Raja's tweet seems to be weighing heavily on him. The reason is that many Twitter users have heard him well on it. One user wrote, "Digvijayji, you stay in politics, don't give knowledge on cricket.'' At the same time, another user reminded Ashwin of Mankading in IPL. This user wrote that when Ashwin did Mankading, Australians were talking about morals and ideals. That is why Gambhir spoke by tagging Ashwin.
