New Delhi: BJP MP Gautam Gambhir has said that he will set up free vaccination camps. His statement comes hours after the Drug Controller of Delhi's Kejriwal government informed the High Court that Gambhir's institution has been found guilty of unauthorized storage of febiflu drug and distributing it among corona infected patients.
Earlier in the day, Gautam Gambhir quoted freedom fighter Bhagat Singh in his tweet and wrote, "I am a human being and things that affect humanity affect me- Sardar Bhagat Singh." In another tweet, the cricketer-turned-MP leader said Gautam Gambhir is going to set up free vaccination camps in association with foundation hospitals.
Gautam Gambhir has done this at a time when the Delhi government's drug controller told the Delhi High Court on Thursday that gautam gambhir foundation has been found guilty of unauthorized procurement of febiflu and distribution among covid-19 patients. The high court said the BJP MP acted as a philanthropist but it led to shortage of medicines and the society faced difficulties.
