GAZA: Hamas has accused Israel of committing a “complex war crime” during its recent attack on the Nuseirat refugee camp, which resulted in the freeing of four captives. Hamas claims that three other captives, including one US citizen, were killed in the raid, a charge denied by Israel.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, the death toll from Saturday’s raid has risen to 274, including at least 64 children, with more than 700 Palestinians injured.
Israeli war cabinet minister Benny Gantz resigned from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s unity government, citing failure in the war on Gaza and calling for early elections.
Since October 7, a total of 37,084 people have been killed and 84,494 injured in Israel’s war on Gaza. The death toll in Israel from Hamas’s attacks stands at 1,139, with dozens of people still held captive in Gaza.

US Consulate in Sydney Vandalized with ‘Free Gaza’ Message
Australian police are investigating after the US Consulate in Sydney was vandalized early on Monday. Photos on social media showed the words “FREE GAZA” painted in red on the consulate’s windows, with inverted red triangles painted over the US insignia. The building, located in the city’s northern suburbs, was cordoned off with police tape. Sky News reported that the windows had been smashed at least 13 times with a hammer.
Security camera footage from the early hours of the morning showed a person in a hoodie spray painting the windows and carrying a small sledgehammer.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese condemned the vandalism, saying, “People should engage in respectful political debate and discourse. Acts such as vandalizing the US consulate do not advance the cause of those responsible and are criminal.”
