Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan is making all possible efforts to bring change in the state. The teachings of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi have inspired every section of the world. Efforts are on to add the principles of truth, non-violence, and peace to the government functioning. Rajasthan is the only state in the country that has made such a cell. This cell will be established as a department in the coming days. Every Saturday, on the day of 'No School Bag Day' in government schools, students will be made aware of Mahatma Gandhi and other great men in children's meetings. During this period, prominent thinkers of the state and country will be invited to schools.

In his statement, CM Gehlot said that the work of the Department of Peace and Non-violence will be to propagate the principles of Mahatma Gandhi in the state and inform the new generation about them. The Gehlot government has decided that Mahatma Gandhi library and reading room will be opened in schools and colleges, in which literature related to the father of the nation will be made available. Along with government schools and colleges, private educational institutions will also be asked to keep literature associated with Gandhiji in their library. Special classes will be organized in schools about the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi, in which thinkers will make students aware of his theory and life.

Gehlot has said that Mahatma Gandhi is a subject in itself, about which it is necessary to make the new generation aware. The government has decided that the ideas of Gandhi will also be passed on to the public through social media. Under this, the common people will be made aware of Gandhiji's life philosophy, thoughts, theory, and biography through WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
