The outbreak of covid in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is on the rise. In the last 22 days, 40 people of staff have lost their lives due to covid. These include 18 existing professors. There are still many professors and staff who are infected with covids and some are staying at home and some are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Meanwhile, apprehensions have also been raised about the new variant of Covid. Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has said that it should be investigated whether it is a new variant of corona. He tweeted, "It is very sad and worrying that in the last 20 days, 18 serving professors of Aligarh Muslim University have passed away from Corona. Which should be examined that it is not a new variant of covid. In the prevailing circumstances, it is important to take every aspect related to covid seriously. "
On the other hand, after the death of so many people associated with the AMU, the administration is neither ready to say anything nor give the correct data. On this case, when CMO Dr. Talking to Bhanu Pratap Kalyani, he has said that though only the medical college people will be able to give the correct figure, the newspapers and the group which has revealed that many professors and employees have lost their lives in the medical college. This is because it has a high capacity to increase infection or disease. It did not have much capacity last year but this time it has a high capacity. So the death or casualty figure has increased.
