CassMae, a resident of Germany, has never been to India, but she is a fan of Indian music, and has never even seen India. Her interest in Indian music is very inspiring." PM Modi underscored CassMae's resilience in the face of challenges and her extraordinary achievements. Despite being visually impaired, CassMae's passion for music and creativity drove her to start singing at a remarkably young age. PM Modi highlighted that she began playing African drums at the tender age of 3.

Although CassMae was introduced to Indian music only about 5-6 years ago, she was deeply captivated by its allure, immersing herself completely in it. She even learned how to play the tabla. PM Modi further praised the multilingual singer, noting that she excels in singing in various Indian languages, including Sanskrit, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Assamese, Bengali, Marathi, and Urdu.
