Bollywood actress and former miss world Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is currently engrossed with the shoot of ‘Fanne Khan’ which marks her onscreen reunion with Anil Kapoor. The movie which is being helmed by Atul Manjrekar also stars Rajkummar Rao and Divya Dutta in important roles. Aishwarya will soon start shooting for her next which is a thriller that is yet to be titled. The shoot will commence next year in March or April. The film will be shot in Europe as revealed by a source.

What's interesting to note in this movie is that Aishwarya will be seen in a double role. The lead actor to star opposite her is yet to be finalized. If Aishwarya does sign on the contract, she will be stepping into the shoes of legendary actress Nargis' character Varuna. For Raat Aur Din, Nargis was facilitated with National Film Award for Best Actress.

For the inexperienced, Raat Aur Din chronicles the life of Varuna who suffers from a multiple personality disorder. During the day, she is Varuna, a humble homemaker but by night, she transforms into the mysterious Peggy. The movie also starred Pradeep Kumar and Feroz Khan and was directed by Satyen Bose. This time, the remake will be helmed by Siddharth Anand. Reportedly, Madhuri Dixit Nene has also been approached for the same role as Aishwarya.
