Children are so energetic, active and playful. Whether at home or outdoor, they always looking to do something. Either you want to spend time with them or want them to do something good while you can get on and complete your work, you look for ways to keep them occupied. Here is a list of some fun things to do and learn and keep your kids occupied, while they learn some new skills, be active and explore their creativity.

Painting

This is the best way to get your child to express their creativity. Get a big book with blank pages or plain large sheets and ask them to draw or paint whatever they like. They can do some hand painting or use stuff like cut vegetables to paint.

Get a Craft kit

There are various craft kits for different ages. Select an appropriate one for your kid. Let them create something or stick something on blank sheets.

Play dough

These are easily available and is a great way to keep kids busy. The colours are so attractive and kids love this. It is also a good way to develop their fine motor skills (it builds up strength in the tiny hand muscles) which gets them prepped for using a pencil and scissor later.

Pretend Scooping

Take two bowls and a bag of confetti’s and ask them to scoop out some from one bowl and get it into the other, using a cup or spoon.

Music

Music is also an art in its form. If your children love dancing, put on their favorite music and let them be. They come with some amazing moves at times. They could also play games such as musical chairs or musical statues.
