Ghaziabad: There has been a major accident in Ghaziabad, adjoining Delhi. In the Moradabad region, a cremation ground lanter has fallen here during the rains. Many people were buried under debris due to collapse of the roof. At present, the bodies of 12 persons have been taken out. Still more people are likely to be buried under the debris. A rescue operation is being carried out to evacuate people from the debris. Administration teams are present on the occasion.

In addition, the NDRF team is also taking people out of the rubble. The police officer said that many people have been evacuated so far. According to the information, Rajaram, a fruit seller living in Muradnagar, died this morning. Rajaram's family members and his friends had come to attend his funeral at the crematorium in Muradnagar. When it started raining after the funeral, people stood under the lanter to avoid the rain. At the same time, the letter fell down.

At the same time, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of this accident. On behalf of the Chief Minister's Office, it was said that after taking cognizance of the case of roof collapse in Muradnagar of Ghaziabad, Collector and Senior Superintendent of Police have been ordered to reach relief and conduct relief and rescue operations immediately. The CM has said that all possible help should be provided to the people affected by the incident and proper treatment of the injured persons should be ensured.
