Ghaziabad: Umaid Wrestler has been arrested for beating and forcibly shaving a Muslim elderly man in Loni area of Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh. According to police sources, Umaid wrestler has been arrested. Umaid Wrestler is the local leader of samajwadi party (SP).

In fact, in Ghaziabad district, there is a hue and cry over allegations of beating and forcibly shaving an elderly Muslim man Abdul Samad Saifi.  Police are denying the communal aspect in the case and several people have also been arrested. In the same case, Umaid wrestler, who had been absconding for the past few days, was being searched. SP leader Umaid Wrestler had been absconding for a long time in the case.

Several police teams were wandering in search of him, but the Umaid wrestler was missing. However, police sources say Umaid has now been arrested and is being questioned. Umaid has been arrested from Delhi. Umaid has been arrested near LNJP Hospital in Delhi. The main accused in the case, Pravesh Gurjar, is in jail in a case of extortion. Police are in the process of taking him into custody and interrogating him as police are yet to find the mobile phone from which Abdul Samad 's video was made. Police are currently investigating the case.
