New Delhi: Today is the second day of the World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and New Zealand. The first day's play was called off due to incessant rain. This was followed by the toss at around 2.30 pm today. The match between the two teams started at 3 pm Indian time.

In the final match WTC, New Zealand won the toss and elected to bowl first. In fact, New Zealand have not given a single spinner a place in their squad. Earlier, the first day's play of the match was completely spoiled due to rain. Not a single ball could be bowled, even the toss could not be done. But on the second day, there was an estimate of the weather in Southampton, England.

The forecast said that the sky is clear and the match can be started as per schedule, or before, at regular times. Let us tell you that ICC had already kept the reserve  day for the match. If the rain occur in the the match, it was decided to make the day reserved for the remaining overs of the match. Now, after the entire day of the match is ruined, the start of the game will be considered from the second day itself.
