Jammu: Former Jammu and Kashmir CM and senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad have praised PM Narendra Modi. Azad, while praising Prime Minister Modi at a function of the Gujjar community, said that we should not forget our basic humility and people. He told that people should learn from Narendra Modi, who became PM but did not forget his roots. Ghulam Nabi Azad, who was the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, said that PM Narendra Modi proudly calls himself a tea seller.

He also said that I have political differences with Narendra Modi, but PM is a grassroots person. Azad praised him for his political differences with the Prime Minister while presenting his side of the economy of Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir CM Ghulam Nabi Azad said that we must first fix the economic conditions of Jammu and Kashmir. He also gave a mantra for this and said that the work of development has to be tripled.

Azad also demanded to increase the funds received by the Central Government and said that three to four times more money should be received from Delhi. Azad further said that in our time the budget was less, but we used to make money on different things. Today, work is not visible and industries are closed. Significantly, a day earlier, the leaders of the G-23 had asked the Congress high command to confess that the party has been weakened and that work needs to be done to strengthen it.
