Notifications have been issued for recruitment to the posts of Daroga (SI) in Uttar Pradesh Police. According to the issued notification, recruitment will be done on a total of 9534 posts in the Daroga. Interested candidates can apply online on the official portal http://uppbpb.gov.in. Interested candidates for these posts should apply only after reading the official notification issued by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. Only the application made as per rules will be valid.

Civil Police - 9027 Posts
Platoon Commander Pac-484 Posts
Firefighting Second Officer - 23 posts

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates applying for the post of firefighter second officer must have a Bachelor of Science degree from any recognized university. At the same time, the candidate applying for the SI post in Civil Police and Platoon Commander PAC should be a graduate from any discipline.

Age Range:
The candidates applying for these posts should be between 21 to 28 years of age. At the same time, the maximum age limit of five years has been given to the candidates of OBC, SC, and ST category of the state.

Selection Process:
Selection of candidates for these posts will be done on the basis of online written examination and physical efficiency test. The written examination will be of 400 numbers and the time of examination will be of 2 hours. Multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam.

Mental Ability and Basic Examination - 100 Numbers
Reasoning Examination - 100 Numbers
General Hindi - 100 Numbers
/ Constitution / General Knowledge / Fundamentals - 100 Numbers

Application fee:
An application fee of Rs 400 has been fixed for all categories of candidates.
