He has been in CBI custody for about 15 days. The ED is also questioning him on the money-laundering charges. Let us tell you that on Monday 16 September Chidambaram celebrated 74th birthday in Tihar. Chidambaram will be produced before the Delhi High Court by the CBI for the next hearing on 19 September. Earlier, during the hearing on 12 September, the Delhi High Court gave a jolt. The court said that the Delhi High Court said that a kind of food is available for everyone in the jail, so you will have to eat the same. Chidambaram has moved the Delhi High Court claiming that criminal proceedings have been taken against him for political vendetta.
