Lucknow: The father of the teenager whose body was found in a car parked in Asaram's ashram has also been missing for three years. There has been no trace of him since the assault in a house dispute. The police were also not able to trace him. The teenager's mother has told that my daughter had gone missing since Tuesday night, we tried to find out in the surrounding areas. But she didn't know anything. The matter was also reported to the police. It is now learnt that her body was found in a car parked in the ashram.

The woman told that a few years ago my husband also suddenly disappeared. The same people who made my husband missing have killed my baby girl. The girl's mother has given a complaint against three people. The girl's father and his family, who went missing three years ago due to a land dispute, were also followers of Asaram and used to visit the ashram's Satsang. After the disappearance of the daughter, the family members also came to this ashram while searching. The girl's mother and brother searched for the girl here on the second day of the incident on 6th April, but she could not be traced anywhere.

The family had informed about the teenager's disappearance in Nagar Kotwali on April 5 itself, but the police did not take the petition seriously. When the ashram staff informed about the discovery of the body late on the night of April 7, the police registered a report of kidnapping during the day to save themselves and completed the paperwork. Family members say that if the police were serious from day one, their daughter's life would not have been lost. Police have been deployed at the victim's family's house as a precautionary measure.
