Mumbai: Recently, a man killed his girlfriend and dumped her body under a bridge in Panvel's Dhamli village. The criminal along with his accomplice has been arrested by the Navi Mumbai Police. Police said that the deceased girl was pressurizing her lover for marriage. Due to this, her lover killed her and threw the dead body at a deserted place.

The same Deputy Commissioner of Police, Navi Mumbai Crime Branch, Amit Kale said that on December 14, we found the body of a girl near the bridge in Dhamli village. When the investigation started, it was found that the girl had gone shopping in a showroom a few days back. At that time a young man was also with her. Thereafter, the police investigated and disclosed the matter. On getting the clue, the police arrested the associate of the main criminal.

When the police interrogated him, they came to know that a love affair was going on between the criminal Riyad Khan and that girl for a long time. The girl was constantly pressurizing the criminal to marry, but the criminal was already married. So he was not ready to marry the girl. When the girl put more pressure on him, he along with his accomplice killed the girl and dumped the dead body in a deserted place. DCP Amit Kale said that the criminal worked as a gym trainer in Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai. Whereas the deceased girl used to work in the bar. The criminal used to come and go in the bar. It was there that their friendship turned into love.
