Pune: A shocking news is coming out from Maharashtra in which some men in Pune of the state beat up women with slippers for wearing shorts. A case has been registered against 6 persons in this case. According to Chandan Nagar police, the case is of Rakshak Nagar in Kharadi.

According to the reports received, the aggrieved women live in a PG here and work in different companies. The PG owner filed a case alleging that some persons assaulted the women living in their PGs. The police have registered a case against the six persons under sections 448, 323, 504, 506, 143, 147, 149 of the IPC after the Tahrir.

According to the agency, the complainant woman said that these people often fight with her over something or the other. This time, they did this kind of thing about the clothes of the women living in the PG. She said that on Wednesday night, some people came to her house and started quarrelling over the fact that women living in her PG roamed the area wearing shorts. The dispute escalated to such an extent that they first beat up the young women living in the PG with slippers and then threatened to break the house. The case is now being investigated by the police.
