Ratlam: Many cases of forced conversions are being reported from many districts of the country and one such case is coming from Madhya Pradesh. In fact, a minor girl from Bihar has been reported to have been molested and pressured to convert in the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. The blame is on a man named Arbaaz Khan who had called the victim on the pretext of getting her employment. Both are said to be known through social media. Police have arrested the criminal. The case is said to be on March 1.

According to the media reports, the minor victim was lured into marriage by Arbaaz. The culprit is said to be a native of Ratlam. He took the girl to the Industrial Sector Pithampur Preeti Nagar Colony. The landlord became suspicious when he saw the religion separately in the identity card of Arbaaz and the young woman who had gone there to get a room for rent. He reported it to the police.

The police arrested Arbaaz and called the girl's family from Bihar. The young woman said that Arbaaz was pressurising her to convert. He was saying that she needed to become a Muslim to get a job. The arrest of the culprit Arbaaz has also been confirmed by TI Lokesh Singh Bhadauria of Pithampur Sector 1. "Arbaaz had come to Pithampur with the minor girl. On this, the police arrested Arbaaz and called the girl's family members from Bihar.'' Based on the information given by the girl's father, a case has been registered against Arbaaz under various sections. The case is now being investigated by the police.
