Ranchi: The cases of incidents has been disturbing everyone in today's time, while every day one gets to hear some news which is causing panic in the hearts. On Monday, a glider crashed near the airport in sub-capital Dumka, killing a flight engineer in Jharkhand. While the pilot was seriously injured, he has been taken to Durgapur for treatment. Dumka Superintendent of Police YS Ramesh said here that this glider crashed after flying from Dumka Airport this evening, killing the flight engineer aboard it. While the pilot was seriously injured. It is also being said that he was immediately admitted to Dumka Sadar Hospital, where after first aid he was sent to a hospital in Dhanbad but later he was sent to Durgapur for better treatment.

He said that the flight engineer injured in the incident died on the way to the hospital. The flight engineer has been identified as 32-year-old Dharmendra Kumar Singh of Nagla Loka village in Mathura. While the pilot of the glider has been identified as Captain JP Singh.

He said that the cause of the accident has not been known yet. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner of Dumka Rajeshwari B told that the Dumka Airport has been sealed till the accident is investigated.
