After selling 55,451 units Ducati again creates the record of Global sales record. Ducati, in comparison with the last year sale 642 more bikes this year and record the growth of 1.2 percent.  Ducati is most known sports and superbike brand. It records the highest sales ever in the year of 2016.

"Ending the year of our 90th anniversary with yet another record is a source of immense pride and satisfaction", commented Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding. "2016 was the seventh consecutive growth year for Ducati, clearly confirming the soundness of the Bologna-based group's strategy and skills."

The company officially announces the record sales on its official page. Talking about the different market reports, the USA remained the biggest market for Ducati, with a total of 8,787 bikes dispatched. The company also repeated its excellent progress in the European markets with Italy (over 20 percent hike), Spain (over 38 percent hike) and Germany (over 8 percent hike), doing especially well. The phenomenal growth of over 120 percent achieved in China and Argentina also recorded 219 percent sales hike.

Thanks to the new Ducati Scrambler Sixty2, the Scrambler brand extended its worldwide success during its second year, delivering over 15,500 bikes. Both the Multistrada and the Hypermotard families enjoyed double-digit growth, up by around 16 per cent compared to 2015. And the new Ducati XDiavel also received an equally warm welcome on the market, with sales topping 5,200 units.
