The International Data Corporation (IDC), recently released the Worldwide Quarterly Wearable Device Tracker Report. According to this report, in the first quarter of 2020, global sales of wearable devices were 29.7 percent, which means 72.6 million units were sold in the first quarter. While Huawei has been at number two.
Samsung has got the number three spot. Apple has a market share of 26.8 per cent in wearable devices, up from 25.4 percent last year. Huawei has benefited tremendously in the first quarter of 2020. Huawei captured 15.2 per cent of the market in the first quarter of the year, an increase of 118.5 per cent over the previous year. Huawei's market share in the first quarter of last year was a mere 6.4.
