Go, the lowest resource version of Gmail is now available to all Android users. In the Go app, Google has got Gmail Go, Gallery Go, Map Go, etc. Earlier it was only available for the Android Go lightweight version. This was the design version for the budget smartphone. However, now the selected Go apps have been opened for the entire Android ecosystem. Google Assistant Go and YouTube Go are yet to be opened.

As one might expect from these types of apps, it has code frameworks below. It will be designed to run smoothly with less buffer memory. This is an important criterion for an app designed for budget smartphones. A big difference between the regular Gmail app and Gmail Go is its logo. Gmail Go does not come with Google Meet video conferencing service.

On the Google Play Store, this lightweight app is just 9.9MB in size, which is much smaller than the regular Gmail app. So it suits the budget smartphone and is also good for those consumers who have very slow internet speed. According to Google, its Google Go app is also lighter and faster.

In this, 40% of data is saved by search result optimization. The Go Ecosystem was the first company to be introduced in 2018. At the beginning of last month, Google introduced Android Go for Android 11 version. It said that this app will be 20 percent faster to load things. It is also said to be fast in key privacy and other features.
