Goalkeeper Suraj Karkera's big statement said, "It will be difficult to fill in Sreejesh's place"

Goalkeeper Suraj Karkera, who was selected in the Indian hockey team for the Asian Champions Trophy (ACT) due to the rest of PR Sreejesh, says it may be difficult to fill the veteran goalkeeper's place.  Karkera, 26, last played for India in the Tokyo Olympic scan in 2019.

According to reports, Karkera said before the competition in Dhaka, "I am really excited to have the opportunity to play for India after a long time. It is a great pleasure whenever you get an opportunity to wear an Indian jersey.

He has continued and said that He is not nervous at all because we have practiced well. I have full faith in myself and my abilities. Karkera will face the challenge of replacing veteran goalkeeper Sreejesh, who has been rested from the tournament.
