Bank Holidays June 2023: As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar, banks will be closed for up to 12 days in June 2023, including the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays. The Holidays Under Negotiable Instruments Act lists six of them as holidays, and the other six are weekend leave days (Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays).

Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holidays, and Banks' Closing of Accounts are the three categories into which the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has divided the holidays.

June 2023 bank holidays: complete list:

Banks won't open on June 4, 2023 because it's a Sunday.

Due to the second Saturday in June 2023, banks will be closed on June 10.

On Sunday, June 11, 2023, all banks will remain closed.

Due to Raja Sankranti, banks in Mizoram, Odisha, and Odisha will all be closed on June 15, 2023.

Due to it being a Sunday, banks will be closed on June 18, 2023.

Due to the Rath Yatra, banks in Odisha will stay closed on June 20, 2023.

As of June 24, 2023, fourth Saturdays are a bank holiday.

Friday, June 25, 2023: Sundays are a holiday for banks.

Due to Kharchi Puja, banks in Tripura will be closed on June 26, 2023.

Banks in Kerala, Maharashtra, and Jammu & Kashmir will all be closed on June 28, 2023, in observance of Eid al-Adha.

Banks will be closed on June 29, 2023, in observance of Eid ul Azha.

Due to Reema Eid Ul Azha, banks in Mizoram and Odisha will be closed on June 30, 2023. 

Before making a visit to their branch in June, people should be aware of the bank holidays that month. In addition, it is essential since the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has ordered that the 2,000 rupee notes be replaced. The 30 September deadline has been established for exchanging these notes.
