Shahrdari Sirjan of Iran defeated Gokulam Kerala FC 1-0 in the AFC Women's Club Championship on Wednesday in Aqaba, Jordan. In the 69th minute, Shahrdari Sirjan scored the game-winning goal off an Afsaneh Chatrenoor free-kick. The goal came just minutes after Aditi Chauhan, the goalkeeper for Gokulam Kerala, was sent off for a rash challenge on Zahra Alizadeh.

Shahrdari Sirjan now has six points and is in a comfortable position heading into their final match on Saturday against Jordan's Amman SC, while Gokulam Kerala will be looking for their first points against FC Bunyodkor of Uzbekistan.

Aditi Chauhan, Dalima Chhibber, and Dangmei Grace are all members of the national team. The tournament's winners will be determined by a round-robin format. The Malabarian team, however, is looking to return home after its final game against FC Bunyodkur of Uzbekistan, with zero points from two games. Later this month, the National Team will prepare for matches against Brazil, Chile, and Venezuela.
