Investors are investing more in gold considered safe haven due to a sharp increase in the number of deaths from corona virus. Due to this, the price of gold on the international level is showing an increase today on 13 February i.e. Thursday. Due to the rise in global prices, gold futures prices are also seen increasing on Thursday. Along with this, silver futures are also seeing a boom. On Thursday morning, on April 3, 2020, the futures price of gold was trading 0.42 per cent, or Rs 172, on the MCX exchange at Rs 40656 per 10 grams.
It is being told that the spot price of gold had fallen by Rs 128 on Wednesday, which led it to close at Rs 41,148 per 10 grams. Apart from this, along with gold, the futures prices of silver are also seen on Thursday. The futures price of silver on March 5, 2020 was trending at Rs 45790 per kg with a rise of 0.64 per cent or Rs 290 on Thursday.
Talking about the spot price, on Wednesday, silver fell by Rs 700 to close at Rs 46,360 per kg. In addition to the international prices, according to Bloomberg, the spot price of gold was trading 0.46 percent or $ 7.27 on Thursday morning at $ 1573.33 an ounce. Along with the same gold, the spot price of silver is also seen on Thursday. It was trading up 0.75 per cent, or $ 0.13, on Thursday morning at $ 17.62 an ounce.
