New Delhi: Today, there has been an increase in the price of gold and silver in the country favourable to the international market. According to HDFC Securities, gold prices in the nation's capital New Delhi increased by Rs 224 to Rs 52,672 per 10 grams on Friday. On the other hand, if you talk about silver, it was strengthened by Rs 620 to Rs 69,841 per kg.
In this context, HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel has stated that '24-carat gold price in Delhi has increased by Rs 224. Gold prices have been affected due to the rise in international prices and the strengthening of the rupee against the US dollar. In the global market, gold closed at the US $ 1,954 an ounce and silver at $ 27.13 an ounce.
The rupee strengthened 21 paise to 73.45 against the dollar due to the weak trend of the US dollar. In the interbank foreign exchange market, the domestic currency opened at 73.47 against the US dollar and was at 73.45 at the end of the day's trade, showing the strength of 21 paise against the previous closing price. Earlier on Thursday, the price of gold and silver fell in the country.
