New Delhi: Gold and silver prices continue to fluctuate in the Indian market. The festival of Diwali is coming in a few days. There is also a tradition of buying jewellery on the occasion of Dhanteras. According to experts, gold and silver prices may see a good rise till Dhanteras.

According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-carat gold with 999 purity has gained 162 rupees today (Wednesday) . on the morning of October 20. With this, the price of 24-carat gold has gone up to Rs 475.46 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, the price of silver has registered a steep increase of Rs 1,312. Silver rose to Rs 64,422 per kg this morning.

Gold prices had hiked compared to the morning on Monday evening, while silver had fallen. While the price of 24-carat gold with 999 purity had closed at 47384 in the evening, the price of 999 purity silver had fallen to 63110.
