New Delhi: On Wednesday, the price of gold has come down. According to HDFC Securities, gold has fallen by Rs 516 today. Due to this decline, the price of gold in the capital of the country has come down to Rs 44,517 per ten grams. The rise in the rupee against the dollar has led to a fall in the price of gold.

On the other hand, talking about silver, the price of silver has increased on Wednesday. Silver has gained Rs 146. With this increase, the price of silver has gone up to Rs 47,234 per kg. HSFC Securities analyst (commodity) Tapan Patel said 24-carat gold has become cheaper by Rs 516 per tola in Delhi. Today, the rupee was trading strongly against the dollar by 36 paise, due to which the price of gold has come down.

Talking about the global market, gold was trading at $ 1,661 an ounce and silver at $ 17.03 an ounce. Earlier on Monday, gold prices rose by Rs 22 per 10 grams to Rs 45,063 in the national capital, amid concerns of the international economic slowdown. There was a significant decline in the price of silver. Silver fell by Rs. 710 to Rs. 47,359 per kg.
