Another company gets permission for testing potential Covid19 drug on humans in India

There is a lot of discussions these days about COVID-19 medicine in the country. According to the Government of India, the corona vaccine will come by the middle of the next month. Another big news has come for MP. After the country's first corona drug Covaxin, now human trials of the country's second Covid-19 vaccine has started.

Indian vaccine company Zydus Cadila said on Wednesday that it has begun human trials for a potential corona drug. Meanwhile, coronavirus infection is increasing rapidly in the third most affected country of the world i.e. India. Zydus Cadila stated that ZYCoV-D, a plasmid DNA drug, is considered safe. The clinical trial of this corona drug has revealed good results of immunity. Zydus Cadila will include more than 1000 people in its human test. For this, many clinical research centres are being built in the country.

Apart from this India Biotech's 'Covaxin' on July 2, Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical company Zydus Cadila Healthcare Ltd. has also said to manufacture Corona medicine. The Drug Controller General of India has also approved Zydus Cadila to test this drug on humans. Zydus Cadila has become the second company in the country to get permission for testing on humans. Recently, Bharat Biotech of Hyderabad has got permission for testing.
