VVS Laxman will no longer be seen in the Camp at Sunrisers Hyderabad. He will also not be seen doing commentary on any cricket match in the coming days. There is only one reason for both of them, he got the post of Rahul Dravid. Yes, Laxman's responsibility for Indian cricket has increased, for which he has to distance himself from Sunrisers Hyderabad and the commentary box.

In fact, Laxman has now become the new head of the National Cricket Academy means NCA. The chair of the NCA chief was vacated after Rahul Dravid became the head coach of the Indian team. However, VVS Laxman has earlier refused to assume the responsibility. But then, after the BCCI persuaded him, he agreed. And now he will be called the new boss of the NCA. A top official of the BCCI has informed that Laxman will head the National Cricket Academy.

However, Laxman is yet to take charge. According to a report received, VVS Laxman is likely to take over after the India A team's tour of South Africa. The BCCI officer said, "Laxman has agreed to become the NCA chief on his own terms. Chairman Sourav Ganguly and secretary Jai Shah were excited to make him the NCA chief. This is because Dravid and Laxman have a better understanding and will serve as a bridge between the Indian team and the NCA. Work is on the terms and conditions of Laxman's appointment. But he has already started sharing his ideas with NCA."
