Fertilizer manufacturer IFFCO Limited has partnered with Singapore's technology firm iMandi Ltd to launch an e-commerce platform for the farmers. In addition, an e-commerce app IFFCO iMandi has been launched. This app will directly benefit the country's 5.5 crore farmers, which are already associated with IFFCO. With the iMandi e-commerce app, at present, all the products of IFFCO, including farmers, fertilizers, agrochemicals and seeds, can be purchased at Agri-Input Marketplace at a concessional price. Also, they will get their delivery at home only. Farmers will also be able to purchase equipment used for farming with the help of this app. 

On the other hand, farmers can also sell their produce (grain) with the help of this platform. Farmers will give their product information on this platform and then the buyer will contact them. All this work will be done through mobile only. IFFCO's Managing Director, Dr. US Awasthi said, "For Agri inputs, FMCG, electronics, loans, insurance, this (IFFCO iMandi) is a one-stop shop. iMandi will fulfil all the needs of the farmers."

This app will also provide communication (chat and calling), entertainment, information and adviseable content. Farmers will be able to connect with a forum based on different subjects according to their interests and needs. Farmers will be able to consult with experts. iMandi will help ease access of farmers to financial services like the loan, microfinance and insurance. iMandi App will be available on Playstore, App Store for Android and iOS users. Also, it is also available on the company's website. At present, IFFCO has more than 55,000 products of sale.
