Good news for railway passengers, Duronto express trains to start from September 3

New Delhi: Indian Railways is continuously increasing the number of trains in view of the convenience and demand of passengers and restoring the train services affected by corona. In the same vein, Western Railway has announced the reintroduction of two Duronto trains running between Mumbai and Delhi.

According to Western Railway, train number 09009 Mumbai Central-New Delhi Duronto Special train will run every Monday and Friday from September 03. Similarly, train number 09010 New Delhi-Mumbai Central Special Train will run every Tuesday and Saturday from September 04. With this, Western Railway has decided to restore train number 09227 Mumbai Central-Indore Special from 4th September. Which will be run every Thursday and Saturday. On the other hand, train number 09228 Indore-Mumbai Central Special will be operated every Friday and Sunday from September 05.

On the other hand, railways have decided to extend the operating period of several currently released special trains till further orders in view of passenger convenience. This includes several trains including Bandra Terminus-Patna Weekly Express, Bandra Terminus-Saharsa Weekly Express, Udhna-Manduadih Weekly Express, Indore-Patna Weekly Express. Which will continue till further orders in September.
