Bhopal: There is good news for college students of Madhya Pradesh. 24 new private colleges (MP Private Colleges) will be opened in the state soon. The Department of Higher Education has made preparations for this and is in the process of issuing NOC soon. From the new session, students will be able to take admission to these new colleges. In addition, about 21 colleges have sought approval from the Department for starting new courses and 72 colleges have sought approval from the Department for starting new faculty, which may also be allowed soon.

In fact, 30 institutions from different districts had sought permission from the higher education department to open new colleges, sending proposals for the same. The department has selected 24 of these proposals and rejected the demand of 6 for not completing the documents. The department is now set to issue NOC to them before the new session 2022-23.

In the approval to open the same new colleges, 6 applications were received from Bhopal, out of which 3 have been validated, they may soon get NOC from the department, who will have to take affiliation from Barkatullah University (BU).
