On Friday, the company handed over three cheques of Rs 25 lakh to the district administration for this purpose. In addition, the company is ready to give a job to Rakesh Mandal's wife, an employee posted in Dumka. He said the company will provide all possible assistance to the victims' families on humanitarian grounds. The Jharkhand government has also announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh each for the families of the three deceased.
On April 11, 30 persons were rescued in the Deoghar Trikut ropeway accident. Three persons died after the operation, which lasted about 45 hours. Two of them died during the rescue operation. The Jharkhand government said that strict action will be taken against those responsible for the incident.
