Three people including a child were burnt alive in a horrific accident in Panipat's Israna on Friday afternoon. The car caught fire after it collided with a truck near Israna on Panipat-Rohtak Highway. In the incident, three people including an 8-year-old child in the car got trapped inside and all of them lost their lives due to burning. But till now the identity of the dead has not been ascertained. If reports are to be believed, the accident occurred due to a collision with the truck from behind.
As soon as the collision took place, the car started burning. Hearing the screams of the car occupants, the people around tried to extinguish the fire at their level but they could not succeed. When people could not control the fire, the fire brigade and health department were informed about this. The police team immediately reached the spot after getting information about the burning of three in the accident and broke the glass of the car and pulled out the three bodies and sent them to the civil hospital for post-mortem.
The bodies have not yet been identified. The police have seized the burnt car. Some reports say that the car was of Sonepat number and was CNG. The occupants could not get out as the car was locked from inside after the fire. The car kept burning for about a quarter of an hour. According to the police, all the bodies have been badly burnt, so they are not being identified. At the same time, all the papers of the car were also completely burnt due to the fire. In such a situation, now efforts are being made to identify the dead with the help of the number of the car.
