New Delhi: Several companies in the country are coming up with a variety of offers to attract customers, in which the digital payments app Paytm on Friday announced a cashback of Rs 50 crore. Launching the cashback programme to mark the completion of 6 years of Digital India, the company said that traders and users in India will be given cashback for every transaction made through paytm app.

Campaign to be launched in 200 districts:
The cashback campaign launched by Paytm will be launched in 200 cities across the country along with Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. However, it is yet to be revealed which these 200 districts will be. Paytm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma said India has made significant progress in its Digital India Mission. This technically strengthens everyone. Paytm's guaranteed cash back is to be given to those who are the top businessmen in the country and have played an important role in making Digital India a success.

Paytm was launched on July 1, 2015:
Shekhar further said that apart from cashback, soundboxes and IoT devices will also be provided to the highest number of transactions through Paytm app before Diwali. Digital India was introduced by the country's PM Narendra Modi on July 1, 2015. The aim is to make India digitally strong.
