Bollywood is in shock after Legendary and veteran megastar Shashi Kapoor passed away at the age of 79 on Monday evening. Shashi was not only reel hero but also real life hero as he struggle a chronic illness and left for his celestial abode at Mumbai's private hospital. Several Bollywood celebs crowded on the social media to express their shock and extend acknowledgment to the Kapoor’s family in this hour of grief. Shashi Kapoor was admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital where he take his final breathed. The legendary star was under constant medical supervision and was battling health-related issues for long time.

The late great Shashi Kapoor, the romantic screen icon of the 1970s and early 1980s, died on Monday at a hospital in Mumbai. He was 79. Randhir Kapoor, son of veteran actor Raj Kapoor, confirmed the news. "Yes he has passed away. He had kidney problem since several years. He was on dialysis for several years," Randhir Kapoor. The funeral will be held today at 12 PM.

Shashi Kapoor expired at 5:20 in the evening on December 4 at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai which is revealed by Dr Ram Narain from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Several Bollywood celebs thronged Twitter to express their shock and extend condolences to the Kapoor family in this hour of grief. The Kapoor senior featured in as many as 148 films in his illustrious career.
