Researchers said in a report that they scanned 22,484 websites around the world and found that all these sites were sharing data of their users with third-party companies. Analysts also pointed out that 93 percent of these websites are sharing users' data with seven domains on average. The report also pointed out that only 17 percent of adult websites use encryption.

According to reports, 74 percent of websites was also tracked by Google and its companies. Facebook, the most favorite social media platform for people, was also able to trace 1 out of every 10 sites in the scanning of researchers. No information has yet emerged about what Google and Facebook do with this data by tracking users. Researchers, however, say that users from Google and Facebook pornography websites will use it to develop advertising profiles.

A Google spokesperson told the New York Times, "We are not sure how to develop any advertising profile based on users' sexual desire or online activity." Also, websites with adult content are against showing Google ads on us." On Facebook, Facebook said the company does not allow to track the adult website for the business purpose.
