USA:  In order to provide users with "more relevant responses" in the search results, Google Bard now supports support for precise locations. The AI tool's most recent update aims to enhance the search experience and give users detailed information about their neighbourhoods so they can make better decisions. People must enable the required location permission in their browser's or device's settings in order to get better results.

In an effort to compete with well-known chatbots like ChatGPT, Google is constantly updating Bard. The organization's most recent update aims to get Bard to respond in more useful ways. Bard now has access to the precise location of the user's device. This will enable the generative AI tool to provide more pertinent information about the nearby restaurants and other local landmarks.

In response to a user's immediate surroundings, Google Bard now provides "more relevant responses". The required location permission is requested from users in their browser's or device's settings. To provide individualised and location-specific search results, the AI tool uses the user's IP address and the Home and Work addresses connected to their Google Account to determine the user's location.

When you launch Bard, a prompt with the choice "Use Precise location" is shown, stating that "Bard is more relevant with location." If you unintentionally click away the initial request to update your location, go to the bottom-left area and select "Update location" from the menu that appears below the light/dark theme button. Bard takes note of your current location and provides customised results.
